People leave Newgrounds not because Newgrounds is bad, or Madness is bad. It's the people. Criticism, quality of submissions, activity of others - it's just a shroud for a fact which cannot be even considered a problem, in a sense. If Madness runs in your veins, you will keep making it, no matter how good or bad you are. If you don't want to make Madness, nothing will be able to change your mind. And Madness is but a small scenery of the theater of Newgrounds.

By the way, you need to continue scouting. You will get yourself unscouted, yes, but at least you will bring attention to this phenomena when bad artists get scouted in masses, and moderators will finally do something about it.

@kkots Sometimes, you just receive some bad words in a day that you're feeling down, and, I know how it feels, because it already happened with me. One day I was thinking: "Damnit, I already tried so much ways to animate someone walking, but I always have the same responses, "bad walking animation evah", "you need to improve the walking", "the walking is bad, really bad", and etc." I almost cried, because I fell like I was nothing when compared with other people, I knew that the people that said all of that words didn't wanted to let me down, but I fell down and inferior, and I was wanting to stop animating (plus I sent a PM to Gabriel Barsch, he knows about all this drama) how I'm still here? I stopped animating for a while, and when I returned animating, my walking animation was nice and smooth, and I finally can animate someone walking without that problems I had, plus the feet animation is now matching with a real walking animation, that's how all happened, if you think this is fake, check out my older posts, when I fell down was on the post "THIS SHIT IS FUCKING HARD!".

My point was that Madness artists are active not because of other people, but because of themselves, their own desires and ambitions. For the same reasons Madness artists leave the scene (because of themselves).
But you are trying to tell me, that you were about to leave, but didn't? Are you supporting my point, or are you against it? Is what you said a defense or offense against my point? I see it as neither.
And I believe you.

@kkots it's hard to tell you, but what I meant was that sometimes Critism is critical to make people leave this place, I already know so much people that because feeling inferior abandoned newgrounds, do you know why? Because all they readed and earned as experience was "no, that's not right, the head isn't even moving", "no, that's very bad...", bla, bla. Every comment pointing out errors and errors, and when the guy that made the test thinks that his skills aren't enough, he quits. Constructive critism is fatal sometimes.
There's one thing you said that I don't think it's really right, with all the respect:
"just a theatre scene", Madness is something huge, or was at least, I mean, the modernity people doesn't give so much attention at animating, making games, etc, they're just lazy asses that wants a easy life, without doing anything, (of course there's a part of the world population that's still educated, awesome, friendly, and these people are rare, the type of person I want to be friend of, for all my life, sincerely), and Madness isn't growing anymore like 2006-2010, because the good persons are fading away after the days.
